WOBURN, MA- October 29, 2001 - SensAble Technologies, Inc., announced today that it has established an alliance with PTC (Nasdaq:PMTC), as a member of its Enterprise Software Program (ESP). PTC's ESP program will provide SensAble Technologies the tools necessary to market the FreeForm™ system with PTC's solutions to engineers in the mechanical design automation (MDA) arena. PTC develops, markets, and supports software solutions and services that enable manufacturers to get superior products to market before their competitors.
SensAble and PTC will work together to offer PTC customers access to the FreeForm system, a modeling system that provides designers with the combination of a touch-based system and modeling techniques that optimize form with function. Together, these elements provide users with the ability to streamline designs and capture design intent in a natural, direct and intuitive manner.
