The PHANTOM Omni® Developer Kit

The PHANTOM Omni Developer Kit enables developers to integrate haptics with existing third-party applications and new applications. The PHANTOM Omni Developer Kit Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is U.S $2,400/kit. Prices may vary worldwide based on value-added services and support, importation, duties, taxes, etc. Volume pricing for $1,000 per unit is also available for OEM deployment units. The OpenHaptics developer kit supports Microsoft® Windows® XP and 2000 and Linux® Red Hat® Fedora™, Core 1 or later or SuSE 9 or later, and Mac OS® X software.

The PHANTOM Omni Developer Kit includes:

• The PHANTOM Omni haptic device - the most cost-effective haptic device available. Portable design, compact footprint, and IEEE-1394a FireWire® port interface ensure quick installation and ease-of-use. The PHANTOM Omni device comes with a licensed PHANTOM device driver.
• The OpenHaptics® toolkit - software and perpetual software license. This haptics toolkit is patterned after the OpenGL® API, making it familiar to graphics programmers and facilitating integration with OpenGL applications. The OpenHaptics toolkit includes the lower-level HDAPI.
• Hardware support for 1 year.
• Basic Developer OpenHaptics software support and updates for 1 year which includes:
   - Source code examples
   - Access to the SensAble online Developer Support Center and forum
   - Documentation
