When surfacing, begin with fit resolution setting around 10 to 20 and cover the form. Turn on measure fit (rainbow) mapping then go to Patch Display Properties and adjust red line value to the desired "patch fit" tolerance. Adjust the patch boundaries and corners to minimize red areas. Then begin upping fit resolution till you acheive the best result. This lets you get the best fit with the most speed and least density of surfaces.
